Congratulations! You bought your First Car

You just negotiated a car purchase.
While paying up at cashier window, the cashier informs you that you got a very good deal. He further tells you that six persons who bought the same model today, paid higher price than you.
You are thrilled and you tell your wife that you are such a good negotiator but your professor tells you differently.
How does he see things differently?
