Sports contract renewal

You are a sports agent and represent a top player.
Your client's contract is up for renewal and the company wants to stop the sale royalties. You visit the company head quarters and are in negotiations with the head marketing.
While the discussions are in progress, the company chairman walks in and comments
" this is outrageous. He is making ten times of what I am making, and I am the chairman."
The room went silent.
